| Loket, solid ground, hard pack track with lots of stones, old style circuit with downhills, hold the Thirteenth Motocross World Championship MXGP. The Honda JTech rider Giuseppe Tropepe came back from the injury not in an easy circuit. For Giuseppe was the first time in Czech and he gave his best, bringing home few points. Even though the bad start in the First Race, Giuseppe moved up good till the 17th, but then, after a crash due to the luck of experience, he moved back and recovered just till the 24th place. In Race Two, after a start in the mid-pack, he crashed. During the race he fought with the other riders in front of him, but at the end he couldn’t achieve more than the 18th place because he is still not 100% with the preparation after the injury. Henry Jacobi was not stopped from two bad starts, he fought his way up trying to find a good rhythm lap by lap and he could recover strongly. Thanks to some good overtakes and fast lines, he ranked the 20th place in Race 1 and the 15th in Race 2, good points in both races. The Fourthteen Appointment with the Motocross World Championship will be settled in Lommel, Belgium, where also the European riders will be back on track after this 'rest' period. Giuseppe Tropepe: "First MXGP race after the injury I had. The First moto I started around 23th, then in the first laps I moved up till the 17th but I crashed, so I went back in 34th. I could recover till the 24th at the end. The Second moto my start was better and I could finish in 18th, I had a good speed like the other four riders in front of me, but I am still not 100% with the preparation after the injury so I took that 18th". Henry Jacobi: “Saturday in the qualifying race I had a bad start and then I was lucky in the first corner to get an 11th. After some corners a rider crashed and I couldn’t avoid him, so I crashed too. Starting almost last I was already moving up and when I was around 20th I had to change the goggle and finish 27th at the end. Sunday I had bad starts, but in the second race I was clever to go complete inside to make a good mid-field start and from there up to 15th”. :-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-:-: Loket, terreno pesante con molti sassi, circuito vecchio stile con salite e discese, che ha ospitato il Tredicesimo Gran Premio del Campionato Mondiale di Motocross. Il pilota Honda JTech Giuseppe Tropepe è rientrato dopo l’infortunio in un tracciato non così semplice. Per Giuseppe era la prima volta in Repubblica Ceca ed ha cercato di dare il meglio, riuscendo ad ottenere qualche punto. Nonostante la brutta partenza in Gara 1, Giuseppe ha recuperato fino alla 17^ posizione, ma poi, a causa di una caduta dovuta alla mancanza di esperienza, è nuovamente retrocesso, riuscendo a recuperare solo fino alla 24^. In Gara 2, dopo una partenza a metà gruppo, è scivolato. Durante la gara ha lottato con gli avversarsi che lo precedevano, tagliando il traguardo in 18^ posizione, perché dopo l’infortunio non ha ancora raggiunto una preparazione ideale per competere tutta la durata della manche. Henry Jacobi, nonostante due brutte partenze in entrambe le manche, è stato capace di trovare un buon ritmo giro dopo giro ed ha potuto recuperare bene. Grazie a buoni sorpassi e linee veloci, Henry è riuscito a raggiungere la Ventesima posizione in Gara 1 e la Quindicesima posizione in Gara 2, andando così a punti in entrambe le manches. Il Quattordicesimo appuntamento del Campionato Mondiale di Motocross si terrà a Lommel, Belgio, dove anche i piloti del Campionato Europeo torneranno in pista dopo questo periodo di pausa. Giuseppe Tropepe: “Prima gara del mondiale appena rientrato dall’infortunio. Nella prima manche sono partito intorno alla 23^ posizione, i primi giri ho recuperato fino alla 17^ ma sono caduto, retrocedendo in 34^. Sono riuscito a rimontare fino alla 24^. Nella Seconda sono partito discretamente intorno alla ventesima posizione, purtroppo sono scivolato retrocedendo ancora. Con buoni tempi sono poi risalito in 18^, avrei voluto raggiungere la 14^ posizione ma purtroppo la preparazione ancora non ottimale non me lo ha permesso”. Henry Jacobi: “Sabato nella manche di qualifica sono partito male, ma sono stato fortunato alla prima curva riuscendo a passare in 11^. Dopo alcune curve un pilota mi è caduto davanti e non ho potuto evitarlo. Ripartendo in pratica ultimo sono risalito fino alla Ventesima posizione, ma poi, con un cambio occhiali di mezzo, ho finito in Ventisettesima. La domenica sono partito male in entrambe le gare, nella seconda sono stato però capace di infilarmi all’interno del gruppo e da lì a raggiungere una 15^ posizione finale.” |
