The 6th Round of the World Championship was held at the famous sand track of Valkenswaard. The GP of Europe marked the beginning of the European 125, where the Jtech Suzuki Valenti squad lined up the super young Emil Weckman. Unfortunately Giuseppe Tropepe, who injured his left collarbone during a training in the previous days, was not able to ride. Ken De Dycker, after a medium start in the First Race, recovered positions coming up to the top-ten. While Ken was cruising around the fifteenth, the Belgian had to slow down because of the arm-pump, ending the race in 26th. The Second Race was worse because De Dycker, after some laps from the start, was forced to retire because of an electric problem. Emil Weckman crossed the finish line of the First Race in 13th place after fighting to enter the top-ten. In the Second Race, while Emil was riding in seventh, he hardly crashed and he was forced to restart from the last positions. Even if the Finnish was the author of a good recovery, he could just finish 21st. The World Championship will be back on track on the 6th-7th of May in Kegums, Latvia. .-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-. |
